All lanes of Jamestown Road will be closed between 1 and 3:30 p.m. today for the removal of a broken tree limb hanging over Jamestown Road. The road will be closed between Walnut Hills Drive and the entrance to the Holly Hills subdivision.
A contractor for the City of Williamsburg will begin the work at 3 p.m. The road is being closed until the contractor arrives as the broken limb poses a potential hazard to traffic in that area.
Motorists should be prepared for a change in the traffic pattern and use an alternate route to avoid the closure.
We apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you for your patience.
