Armistead Avenue will be closed between the Transportation Center and Lafayette Street on Tuesday, Sept. 26, as a waterline is taken out of service.
The left turn lane to turn onto Armistead Avenue from Lafayette Street will also be closed.
Work will begin at 8 a.m. and conclude by 5 p.m., weather permitting.
Access to the Transportation Center will be available via North Boundary Street. The Williamsburg Area Transit Authority bus schedule will not be affected.
Motorists should be prepared for a change in the traffic pattern and proceed with caution.
