Grand Larceny Suspects Charged

Picture1Andreia Anghel, 29 of Queens, New York, and Sandor Anghel, 33 of Hemet, Calif., are wanted for committing grand larceny and conspiring to commit larceny. The two offenders stole jewelry valued at $171,000 from a business in the 400 block of W. Duke of Gloucester St.

On Sep. 16, 2022, at approximately 3:20 p.m., officers responded to a larceny call at a business in the 400 block of W. Duke of Gloucester St. An unidentified male and female left the business with $171,000 worth of jewelry that was not paid for. The suspects were no longer in the area when officers arrived.

The Criminal Investigations Bureau quickly identified the female suspect as Andreia Anghel. On Sep. 27, 2022, Andreia was charged with two felonies, grand larceny and conspiring to commit larceny. Sandor Anghel was later identified with assistance from Richmond Police. On Oct. 11, 2022, Sandor was charged with the same felonies as Andreia. The whereabouts of both offenders is currently unknown.
