Arley Vaughn Nemo III, 42 of Portsmouth, was arrested in Newport News on Oct. 6, 2022.
Nemo III was wanted out of Williamsburg on felony larceny charges for breaking into a vehicle in the 1400 block of Richmond Rd and stealing over $1,000 worth of property.

On Sept. 27, 2022, investigators from the Criminal Investigations Bureau obtained warrants against Arley Vaughn Nemo III, 42 of Portsmouth. Investigators determined that Nemo III broke into a vehicle in the 1400 block of Richmond Road and stole property valued over $1,000.
On Sept. 3, 2022, at approximately 10 a.m., officers responded to the 1400 block of Richmond Road for a larceny incident. A vehicle parked overnight had been damaged and property stolen from within. Officers observed a passenger window was smashed and property was missing from inside the vehicle. The approximate value of the stolen property was $4,300. The property damage to the vehicle window was valued at $250.
A security video camera captured footage of an unidentified male looking into numerous vehicles with a flashlight around 1:10 a.m. Sept. 3, 2022. James City County Police and William & Mary Police assisted in the investigation.
Investigators obtained felony warrants for grand larceny and grand larceny of a firearm. A misdemeanor warrant was also obtained for climbing into a vehicle without consent with the intent to commit a crime.
Nemo III has not been apprehended. He is described as a white male, 5’4” tall, 120 pounds, bald head, short brown beard, with brown eyes. Nemo III is also wanted by James City County Police, Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office, and William & Mary Police.
