Woman Wanted for Embezzlement

Picture1UPDATE: On June 13, 2022, at approximately 8:40 p.m., Amy Melissa Taylor-Wallace was arrested on four felony charges of embezzlement. Ms. Taylor-Wallace turned herself in to law enforcement at the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail.

A York County woman is wanted for embezzling money from a business located in the 200 block of Monticello Ave following a thorough investigation by the Williamsburg Police Criminal Investigation Bureau.  


Investigators discovered that Amy Melissa Taylor-Wallace embezzled more than $30,000 from the business. Ms. Taylor-Wallace embezzled the money via fraudulent cash returns between 2020 and 2022. Investigators obtained four felony embezzlement warrants against Ms. Taylor-Wallace. On June 8, 2022, Ms. Taylor-Wallace agreed to turn herself in to law enforcement but never showed up.

Amy Melissa Taylor-Wallace is described as white, 5’7” tall, and 170 pounds. She has brown curly hair and wears glasses.
