The City of Williamsburg is launching a six-month pilot program that provides free broadband service to any City resident who wants to participate.
The equipment and service are free to any City resident who wants to participate.
City staff will not enter your home. Residents will pick up a preconfigured router. Once the router is plugged into power, Wifi-enabled devices can connect. City staff will provide instructions at the router pickup.
Participants can use up to 25 GB per month. (Note: Use of streaming services while connected to this router is not recommended.)
Six months of free service begins on the day of router pickup for each participant.
