Williamsburg’s Parks and Recreation affords residents countless opportunities for indoor and outdoor recreation and enjoyment; enhancing our sense of community and well-being. We have created a balance of passive and active recreational opportunities for our residents to use and enjoy, so get out there and play for the fun of it!

Passive parks usually have no active play component or equipment. These parks may be natural areas or city maintained areas or a combination of both.

- Quarterpath Recreation Center - The Quarterpath Recreation Center is a 35,000 square foot facility providing both residents and non-residents with a wide array of recreational activities and amenities. Various instructional classes, athletic programs for youth and adults, sports camps, open gym times and special events are held throughout the year at this facility. There are four rooms available for rent for special family events as well as corporate meetings and functions.
